Saturdays

One of the things I miss about my pre-parent, pre-dogs days are Saturdays. That day when you were up late from a night out (with or without hangover) mooching around, languishing in the bath/shower cleaning off the night before. Have breakfast watching scooby-doo. Go and do some clothes shopping, or go away for the weekend, or sunbathe (hot weather required). Now my Saturdays are a hurricane of dog walking (pre-shower) ferrying child to stage class, getting the weekend shop, taking dogs to lesson (2x badly behaved dogs now), doing little bits of work to get ahead on Monday, cooking food bought earlier, and lastly vegging out for a couple of hours before going to bed again. Hmmm off to dog lesson 2!
