Tough lesson learned

My daughter loves to sing. She sings all the time. She has singing lessons. She has drama AND singing lessons. There is an annual music festival at her school, you turn up for the rehearsals, you get to be in the show. The WHOLE school is involved. Its house against house. There are hundreds of kids in it. Musicians learn complicated arrangements, and singers sing great songs in huge choirs. There is one thing you have to remember – apart from the words. You have to remember to sign the sign-up sheet at each rehearsal so they can log your commitment. Guess what has been forgotten. Guess who didn’t get on the list. Guess what – we are both gutted.
